Aloo Paratha is a breakfast dish from the Indian region. The recipe is one of the most popular breakfast dishes throughout the western, central and northern regions of India as well. This flatbreads made with all purpose flour, mashed potatoes & spices. These is full of flavorful and delicious.
3 medium-sized potatoes (boiled)
1 tspn Freshly grated Garlic
2-3 green chilli finely chopped
1 Chopped onion
1 Tspn Red Chilli Powder
1 tspn cumin Powder
1 tspn Dhana powder
1 tspn amchur powder
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves
Combine everything in bowl.
-Make Vaghar with Oil Chopped curry Leaves
Raai, ajwain and then add the potato mixture
Squeeze in half lemon mix well amd cook for few minutes.
For the dough:
3 Cups all purpose flour
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp ghee
-In a large bowl, mix together the flour, Ghee and salt. Make a well in the centre and gradually add the Warm water. knead until smooth and soft. Cover with a damp tea towel
and allow the dough to rest for 15 minutes.
-divide the dough into 12 balls,
Make small rotis place potato filling and Cover with another small roti, press the edger genuinely and press paratha with ur hand then roll slowly.
Place the paratha down onto a preheated tawa and cook over a medium heat for 30-40 seconds. Flip it over with a spatula and apply a small amount of oil/gher all over the surface of the paratha. Allow this side to cook for a minute before flipping it over and applying oil on the second side. Well rolled Aloo Paratha should puff up slightly. Once it is golden brown all over, remove from the tawa. Keep warm on a plate lined with a kitchen towel.
Serve hot with your favourite pickle or plain yoghurt..
