DAAL AND RICE
The all time favorite simple friday meal super easy and convenient to make . The daal is made from soaked lentils and the rice from boiled basmati rice which is an amazing aromatic combination. Served with lots of chataka’s (Cabbage salad, murabba, Sweet Chilli pickle, amba arad pickle)

I usually make biryani on fridays but due to so many requests for daar and rice today’s jummah meal daar and rice it is only for InstaFam ❤️❤️.

Daal Rice

1 Cup Pigeon Daal (Soaked)
-Boil in pressure cooker along with Salt and turmeric

Chicken or Mutton
-Cook until tender With salt, turmeric, whole cumin, taj, laving

Into the large pot Add all the ing ingredients Together
•Chopped Tomato
•2 Tspn Ginger Garlic paste
•Green chili paste to taste
•Oil as needed
•Whole Jiru, Whole garam masala
•Few Slice Onion
-Spice
•Red chili powder
•Salt
•Turmeric
•Dhana Powder
•Cumin Powder
•Garam Madala
-Switch On stove and cook everything on Low to medium heat until tomatoes get soft,
Then add into Whole Chili, meat/chicken with stoke and Fried Onions Cook on low heat until water burn out,
Then into the Masala add Boiled Daal (Sieve it)
Add enough water and Boil for 20 Minutes on low heat🔥 add chopped coriander just before serving…

Rice

Make waghar with sliced onions, whole masalas, Green chili and oil, then add in water and Soaked Chickpea dhaal
Boil water and add in Washed rice i used (sona masoori rice)

Enjoy your meal with lots of chatakas
Achaar/pickles
Papad
Cabbage salad

Cabbage salad
Waghar with Lil Rai and oil pour into
Sliced Cabbage then add in Lemon juice, salt, Chili rings and coriander

Enjoy🔥
